This year we're marking the hundred-day countdown to Best of Phoenix 2015 by sharing some of our favorite dishes at restaurants all over the Valley. Have a suggestion for a dish you'd like us to try? Leave it in the comments section or email email@example.com.
8. French Fries at Bink's Midtown
With a sun-drenched dining room and a spacious front patio, Bink's Midtown is exactly the kind of place where you want to enjoy a long lunch and a cocktail with some good company. And though chef Kevin Binkley's menu offers diners plenty of options featuring local, seasonal produce, I highly suggest you take a detour from these options and try an order of the restaurant's fries.
For just $5 during both lunch and dinner, you can get an adorable metal pail that's just brimming with some of the Valley's best frites. The beauty of these golden fries is the extra crisp exterior; they give the most satisfying crunch every time you bite in and yet remain soft and moist on their potato-y insides. Binkley seals the deal with a trio of dipping sauces including an aioli, sauce vert, and truffle ketchup. Paired with a glass of rosé on a leisurely afternoon, these fries are a perfect indulgence.
