The club gods haven't been too kind to either DJ Joshie or Benni Beatnik over the past two years. A couple of summers ago, their popular weekly dance affair, Electrostatic, was 86'd at Glam after the club's property owners decided to shut down the hipster bar. Then, the situation repeated itself last November when Homme was shut down, leaving the night without a venue yet again. Undaunted, the pair has moved the party to Sanctum, 4343 North Seventh Avenue, where they will continue to spin up nu-disco, dubstep, drum 'n' bass, indie tracks, and electro every Tuesday evening. Special guests and rotating residents Bigie, The Ariel, and Kid Turnswell will join the fray, and roaming photographer Stevie Kixx will be in the house to capture candid moments on film. Doors open at 10 p.m. with no cover. Visit www.myspace.com/electrostaticglam.
