Call us boring, but the idea of going to a glitzy club in Scottsdale kinda makes us want to poke out our eyeballs. Offer us a humble bar stool, stellar music, and a fine selection of wine and beer, however, and it’s on.

Such is the scenario at Downtime Tuesday at the Lost Leaf. Resident DJs Dopple Gang, Hartbreaks, and Ellery roll and scratch the night away, deftly mixing beats and bringing genre bending to new levels.

Meanwhile at the bar, guests have their pick of the Leaf’s incredible collection of more than 100 beers, wines, sakes, ciders, and meads. With that kind of set-up, we may just stay all night. After all, we hear the later hours of this weekly shindig can get pretty wild.

Hmmm. Maybe we’re not as boring as we thought.
