Maybe you’re cranky over the unnecessary light saber modifications seen in the teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but we’re willing to bet your love-hate relationship with George Lucas does not rival Dustin Diehl’s. The noted Wars aficionado proves his ultimate fanboy status with the third annual celebration of Life Day, which includes a screening of the notorious Star Wars Holiday Special, complete with narration from Diehl. Nerd Nite and FilmBar present the free geek-out, along with karaoke and some of the weirdest holiday movie trailers of all time, at mod, 2828 North Central Avenue, on Thursday, December 18. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Thu., Dec. 18, 8 p.m., 2014
