A few weeks back a flyer began circulating on ye olde interwebs rumoring that random party attendee Bill Murray would embark on a bash crashing tour of these United States over the summer. Unfortunately for those who believe everything they read, the poster's hotline is the direct number for the Westboro Baptist Church and it's original source is a fake news site.

But damn if that "news" didn't travel fast. The optimists over at vintage shop Metro Retro quickly raised their hands to host a Bill Murray Can Crash Here Party on Wednesday, August 1, with fingers crossed that the actor just might maybe show up.

Whether he does or doesn't, attendees will partake in karaoke, music, and general mayhem starting at 7 p.m.
