Theremin at Work

Is there anything hotter than a gal playing the theremin? Not in many dudes’ books. Shit, she could have the personality of a kneecap and most fellows would still want to approach her after the show. Betcha some fools would even argue that Clara Rockmore looked pretty good for a 66-year-old woman when she recorded The Art of the Theremin in 1977. (That’s just sick and wrong.)

On Monday, August 11, The Octopus Project – an Austin-based experimental rock/noise band that’s fronted by Yvonne Lambert on samplers, keyboards, glockenspiel, guitar, and, yes, theremin – performs at the Rhythm Room.
