Let’s be honest, most of us can’t tell our malbecs from our merlots. Which is why we leave our wine pairings to the experts, like certified second level sommelier and executive chef Rich Hinojosa. This fall, Hinojosa will be hosting a series of special four-course dinners paired with wines that showcase a particular vineyard. Featured winemakers will include ZD Winery, Newton Vineyards, Caymus Vineyards, and Heitz Cellar.

The next winemaker dinner features Trefethen Family Vineyards and kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 19, at The Wigwam, 300 East Wigwam Boulevard, Litchfield Park. Dinner is $69 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations must be made by calling 623-935-3811. Special room rates are available between $99 and $199 when dinner guests use the promo code WINEDINNER.
