Looking for something to do this weekend? "Night Owl" is a quick guide to special nights at bars and clubs around town. We'll give you a few hints re: cover, dress code, music and atmosphere. Tuesdays mark The Waters at The Dubliner Irish Pub.

The Dubliner is everything an Irish pub should be: cozy, casual, equipped with a Foosball table, and (most importantly) great prices.

The $2 PBR specials and the band's nature friendly name make Tuesday nights at this Phoenix pub look like one potentially serious hipster hangout. However, The Waters are definitely not the indie rock wet dream they appear to be.

Check out the latest Tuesday night here and a full rundown after the jump...

The Place: 3841 E. Thunderbird Rd., Phoenix, AZ, 85032

The Time: Every Wednesday, 10 p.m.

The Cover: None.

The People: Mostly regulars and friends of the band. This could feel a little exclusive, the friendly staff helped to prevent this.

What we loved:  Irish pubs are Irish pubs and there wasn't anything terribly special about this one. That being said it did have cheap beer, a foosball table and a comfortable well-worn feel.

What we didn't love: Whoever was in charge of the music before The Waters took the stage. An unfortunate shuffle of strictly Bon Jovi and Kanye West.

Are we going back? Eh... possible not probable.
