Starting today and running through Saturday, April 11 The Bakery PHX is celebrating National Baking Week by offering 20 percent off fresh-baked goods. Each day the north Phoenix bakery will offer discounts on a different type of baked good including cookies on Monday, cupcakes on Tuesday, scones on Wednesday, brownies and blondies on Thursday, Twinkies on Friday, and almond croissants on Saturday. Cartel Coffee Lab Thursday, April 9
Later this week Cartel Coffee Lab in Tempe will be hosting the grand opening of the newly expanded The Cartel Brewery at Ash & University. The coffee house and brewery has added a 7-barrel system and a Tasting Room, and will debut the space this week with the tapping of its newest beer - the 480 Session Ale. The Tasting Room will be open on Thursday nights from 5 to 9 p.m., allowing customers to come in, grab a pint, and watch the game on the television or get a look at the brewery. Cartel currently has four beers on tap: the brewery's flagship D.P.A (Desert Pale Ale), the Coffee Brown, the F.Y.I.T.M Imperial Ale, and an Amber Rye.
SuperFarm Market & Food Truck Roundup Thursday, April 9
The folks behind the Gilbert Food Truck Court have added another East Valley food truck roundup to their roster. On Thursday nights you can head to Superstition Farm at 3440 S. Hawes Road in Mesa for the SuperFarm Market & Food Truck Roundup from 4 to 8 p.m. The event features produce from vendors including Taste of Paradise, a local farm from Queen Creek, and a handful of local food trucks. This week you'll find BANG BANG Dumpling, Best Dressed Dog, Circle R Farm, Coqadoodledoo, Queso Good, Rockabelly, and Udder Delights.
