Want to have an "Intimate Conversation" with the former First Lady?
Well, with you and 5,000 or so other people.
Michelle Obama's tour based on her best-selling book Becoming will make a stop in Phoenix at Comerica Theatre on February 12, Live Nation and Crown Publishing announced Tuesday morning.
Tickets for Becoming: An Intimate Conversation go on sale this week.
To reduce scalping, Live Nation said in a press release that it will utilize Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform. Fans can register today through Wednesday, December 12, at 10 p.m. for the Verified Fan presale. Registered fans who receive a code will have access to purchase tickets before the general public, which go on sale beginning Saturday, December 15, at 10 a.m. at BecomingMichelleObama.com. A limited number of VIP meet-and-greet packages with the former First Lady will also be available.
According to the press release, the presentation will include Obama’s "honest reflections on the experiences and events, both public and private, that have shaped her, from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her years spent at the most famous address in the world."
And maybe she'll diss on the current resident as well.
