Saturday Night Live's Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson to Perform at Tempe Improv

Two of Saturday Night Live's freshest cast members will bring a slice of the show to Tempe Improv in August.

Aidy Bryant, who's from Phoenix, and Tim Robinson will co-headline three nights at the Valley club.

Both comedians joined the show as featured players for its 38th season, leaving Chicago's Second City for the NBC sketch comedy standby.

While neither had a ton of screentime, both made strong impressions. Bryant's turn as Candy Crowley made headlines (we loved her on Girlfriends Talk Show, too), while Robinson's recurring character/punching bag Carl made host Kevin Hart crack up mid-sketch.

Playing to their comedic strengths, the pair will present a combination of sketch work and improvisation followed by a Q&A session about the backstage goings-on at SNL.

Performances start Friday, August 23, and run through Sunday, August 25.Tickets to the 21-and-over shows are $22, and there's a two-drink minimum. Get yours via www.tempeimprov.com or by calling 480-921-9877.
