Cooking Class with Food52's Kristen Miglore

Head to the Miele Scottsdale Experience Center on Tuesday to see Kristen Miglore, creative director of food website Food52 and author of the site's cookbook, Genius Recipes, whip up some of the most popular recipes from the book. Attendees can try out Miele's high-performance ranges and bring home a few goodies from Miele and the Food52 Shop. Instagram Class at Tanzy Restaurant 
Wednesday, July 13

Looking to up your Instagram game? Then consider taking a class at Scottsdale's Tanzy Restaurant this Wednesday during which professional photographer Robert Dube will teach the skills you'll need to take Insta-ready shots. For $15 a person, you can snap photos of food and dig into a tasting menu featuring five items served tapas style. Cocktail Making Class at the Omni

Learn how to whip up libations like a pro this Thursday at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa's MBar. Pull up a seat to the communal table at MBar and learn cocktail-making tips from the bar's in-house mixologist. Free Bastille Day Wine Tasting at vomFASS 
Thursday, July 14

Scottsdale purveyor of specialty oils, vinegar, wine, and spirits vomFASS is celebrating Bastille Day with a free wine tasting. As you probably guessed, the tasting will feature French wines or wines inspired by France. Guests also can down complimentary French-themed hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will taste the following wines: Cheverny, a white blend from Loire Delaporte, a Sancerre from Loire; Cotes du Rhone, a red blend from Rhone; and Copain, a pinot noir from Anderson Valley, California. Bastille Week at Christopher's 
All week

French restaurant Christopher's and The Crush Lounge is also getting in on the Bastille Day action with a three-course, prix-fixe menu that will be served all week starting today. Guests can feast on traditional French fare like gratin of onion soup and chicken with morel cream, and finish the night with an assortment of French cheeses. The meal costs $44 per person. Wine pairings can also be added to each course for $20 per person. All couples who attend Christopher’s Bastille Week celebration will also receive a house-baked baguette to take home. For reservations, call 602-522-2344 and mention the Bastille Week menu.
