Factory Made Future, our one-stop shop for underground party information, has a cool post about an event going on next weekend at The Quicy. (Conveniently located at "the alley behind rainbow doughnuts.")

"We all know it can get more than a tad bit boring going to the same club every weekend, but sometimes there aren't many options provided," the FMF blogger writes, having apparently never been inside Scottsdale city limits. "This party has it all; live hop hop, DJs spinning a mix of every genre you can name, and cheap cover and drinks to boot."

The lineup of live "hip-hop" mentioned is headlined by The Insects, a couple of Tempe-style Blunt Club backpack rappers. Not really my bag, but if you're into Rhymesayers-type shit you might like it.

The cover is $3 and going to charity.
