As usual, we're stoked for lots of upcoming concerts, but this week we're excited about a little extra hard-rockin' estrogen on the list.

Nobody puts on a great performance quite like a strong female frontwoman. If you're a heartbreaker who loves rock 'n' roll, then you won't want to miss out on upcoming local shows by Pat Benatar and Joan Jett.

We're not sure about picking sides -- Benatar did give us one of the greatest videos of the '80s, but Joany recently teamed up with Against Me! for a killer cover of The Replacements' "Androgynous." Then again, no one ever made a Runaways-style flick about Benatar's life, so we'll call it a draw.

We're looking forward to having Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, The Walkmen, and other artists impress us over the next few months.
