October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and to help fight for the cause the foodie way, show your support by heading out to these spots around the Valley.

Cupcake giant Sprinkles will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds of their Pink Ribbon cupcakes to The Entertainment Industry Foundation's Breast Cancer Biomarker Discovery Project. The last day to show your support via strawberry cupcake is Thursday, Oct. 7, so head over to the company's Scottsdale location, 4501 N. Scottsdale Road, now.

You didn't think we were done with cupcakes yet, did you? Wildflower Bread Company will be donating $1 for each of its Pink Ribbon cupcakes sold to the Phoenix division of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure foundation. Topped with either pink, chocolate, or white icing, the restaurant will be offering the cupcakes at all their Valley locations until Tuesday, Oct.12.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is giving you a good reason to indulge in your glaze-covered guilty pleasure. Until Sunday, Oct. 17, stores across the state will be selling pink doughnuts (they even spiked their glaze with pink) and a portion of the doughnut's sales will go to the Phoenix affiliate of the Komen foundation.

Looking for a different kind of buzz? This month Kabuki Japanese Restaurants will be featuring a Pink Ribbon Saketini at all its Valley locations, crafted from fresh strawberry juice and Nigori Sake. Fifty percent of the drink's sales will go to the Komen foundation.

After the diagnosis of friend and business manager Lisa Rhodes, the folks over at Arizona Stronghold Vineyards (of Blood into Wine and Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan fame) will donate a portion of the proceeds of the individual sales of its Dayden Rosé to the Southern Arizona affiliate of the Komen foundation. You can purchase the pink-tinted vino this month from Arizona Stronghold's website or take a trip to the vineyard's Tasting Room, 1023 N. Main St. in Cottonwood.

If you're still hungry after the cupcake/doughnut/saki/rosé binge, all month long Hungry Howie's Pizza will send off all their pies in a pink box adorned with ribbons and for every pizza purchased, the company will make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Donate $1 the next time you order and receive a pink Love, Hope, and Pizza magnet.
