Starting August 2, the much-discussed new AZ Growler Law goes into effect, which means as early as midnight tonight you can be taking home 64oz of your favorite beer from any bar willing to fill the container for you.

Previously, folks could only get growlers filled at actual breweries like Four Peaks and SanTan but now AZ has switched up their regulations (read all the details here) -- any bar that wants to fill these refillable brown 64oz jugs can do so with whatever they currently have on tap.

So where can you get these amazing take home jugs filled? Well, not every craft beer bar is immediately jumping on the growler wagon but places like O.H.S.O., Papago Brewing Co., Taste of Tops, and Valley Whole Foods Markets are all on board and most of them have a few events in place to celebrate.

O.H.S.O kicks off their growler filling at 12:01 a.m. with $10 growlers of anything they have on tap (except Framboise).

Papago Brewing Co. will be raffling off growlers from different breweries and filling them for them the price of a pint starting at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Whole Foods Chandler is celebrating the growler and IPA day with 25 different IPA's on tap. Plus SanTan Brewing will be on site with their seasonal Count Hopula Blood Red IPA and brewers from SKA Brewing will be in the house from 6-8 p.m. signing growlers.

Taste of Tops will also be celebrating IPA day with a 15 tap IPA takeover. Ballast Point Sculpin, Green Flash Palate Wrecker, and Four Peaks' HopKnot will all be available to enjoy at the bar or for take home in your brand new growler.
