Breadfruit in Downtown Phoenix to Celebrate Fifth Anniversary on May 16

We kind of can't believe it's already been half a decade since the Jamacian restaurant The Breadfruit opened in downtown Phoenix.

To thank customers for the years of loyal business -- because it's not always easy to be a business owner downtown -- they're having a celebration on May 16.

The anniversary celebration on Thursday, May 16 will include a five-course dinner with each course priced at just $5. There will also be $5 punch bowl specials and a complimentary rum tasting.

Of course, it wouldn't be a real party if they didn't also have reggae music, prizes and giveaways. A portion of the proceeds from the night will go to Roosevelt Row CDC, the nonprofit organization that advocates for the arts and small businesses of downtown.
